Stations Needed?

Do we really need the stations? They're a pain to update, and to the common viewer of the site, don't really make much difference. I think it'd be more interesting (and useful) if we put something like the animation company. Warning of GONZO, ya know? --Koroku 18:25, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei 2 -- Sweet-Tooth 13:30, 12 October 2007 (MDT)

The kanji: 新春 on moonphase can translate to 'new year' but generally refers to spring. Zetsubou Sensei 2 is right now scheduled for spring 08, not January.

Re: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei 2 -- Bastard-sama 16:14, 12 October 2007 (MDT)

So you are saying that this is a trap because 春 means spring and is used on all the others besides zetsubou and kimi ga omode shitsuji ga ore de?

Re: Re: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei 2 -- Sweet-Tooth 17:18, 12 October 2007 (MDT)

I can't explain why they do it. I'd just wait and see if it moves somewhere. I mean why would it be quoted as "new year" instead of just January also. It's weird either way.

Re: Re: Re: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei 2 -- Bastard-sama 23:59, 12 October 2007 (MDT)

agreed i also agree its wierd i would have liked to have kept it in winter 2008 until we had proper confirmation...

Re: Re: Re: Re: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei 2 -- Bastard-sama 22:21, 30 October 2007 (MDT)

know you see why i said for you to keep it :D

=Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei 2 -- Sweet-Tooth 10:22, 31 October 2007 (MDT)=

Yes, yes you win ;D

Just an FYI.... 新春 does mean new year exactly. Type that word in Wikipedia Japan - it redirects you to 正月. Need more proof? Just look up that term in ANY dictionaries. Why is new years day called the new spring? Because according to the old calendar in Japan, spring used to span January through March.

==Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei 2 -- Bastard-sama 18:31, 5 November 2007 (MST)==

well if you want to be anal about dates winter doesnt offically start til dec 20ish and spring march 20ish

===Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei 2 -- Sylf 09:37, 6 November 2007 (MST)===

That's an astronomical season. Many other ways of determining the season states Spring is months of March, April, and May. Also, in Japan, in financial calendar, Spring is months of April, May, and June. There is no single definition of Spring.

===Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei 2 -- Sweet-Tooth 11:43, 8 November 2007 (MST)===

WHOA WHOA WHOA. That last bit was NOT me, someone edited my original comment and just added to it.

Fansub Group Subbing Status

Since the season hasn't really started yet, is it really worth having fansub groups on the list and then having a strike through them? I mean, what's the point if they haven't even started subbing it yet?

Re: Fansub Group Subbing Status -- 211.28.195.176 07:40, 23 December 2007 (MST)

Maybe someone put a group's name up and then someone from the group wanted to make it clear that they don't plan on doing it. If they just took it off, someone might just add it back again.

Re: Fansub Group Subbing Status -- Sweet-Tooth 05:48, 31 December 2007 (MST)

I was wondering the same thing myself. I really think it's pointless to put a strike through it, but the person above makes a point. I imagine someone could remove the name and then make a comment here that the group has changed their mind.

Re: Fansub Group Subbing Status -- Warll 15:05, 17 January 2008 (MST)

In Ayako's case they had said at the end of Minami-ke season one that they would "See us next week" ergo that they would be subbing season two.

Completed subbing -- Mickal555 22:13, 31 December 2007 (MST)

How about adding a new entry to the legend for groups who have completed subbing a series, make them blue then for example?

The pages are locked after awhile... like a month after the season has started, so you can't go back and edit after a series is completed.

Re: Completed subbing -- Bastard-sama 16:09, 4 January 2008 (MST)

The answer for that is NO the legend is fine as is no changes will be accepted unless another moderator does it (and i will revert and ban if people attempt)

New shows so far -- Kanna 22:00, 4 January 2008 (MST)

They all suck. Anything by GONZO autofails, and any anime not by them are eroge harems. GG Japan.

Re: New shows so far -- Sweet-Tooth 03:11, 14 January 2008 (MST)

Cynical elitests always have something new and interesting to say, don't they?

Re: Re: New shows so far -- Kanna 10:05, 14 January 2008 (MST)

You tend to have that opinion when the first shows you watched this season are Rosario, H2O, and GSG s2.

Sudo -- MaccaSvenne 05:15, 14 January 2008 (MST)

Is there anyone who can confirm whether or not Sudo/Pseudonym is actually subbing Ookami to Koushinryou...? They're a pretty incognito group and the one who added them to the wiki might have been trolling...

Re: Sudo -- Hotty 11:33, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

If you want to know something like that, better look at Anidb.net. And yes, they've subbed it.

Re: Re: Sudo -- MaccaSvenne 11:56, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Check the date:
"Sudo -- MaccaSvenne 05:15, 14 January 2008 (MST)"

The comment was made before they released the first episode.

locking -- Bastard-sama 23:12, 9 February 2008 (MST)

since winter seems to be over for new shows im locking it as always bug bayoab or kanna if you want something added

-- Sweet-Tooth 10:30, 10 February 2008 (MST)

I don't know who threw in the Yotsuba entry at the end of the table but for people who don't know or for some reason didn't originally read, "The table includes only TV series (first airing) or pre-DVD airings of OVAs (first episodes only). Please DO NOT add OVAs that are not airing on TV. "

You are not supposed to add strictly DVD releases of OVAs. Unless one of the mods wants to okay it now, these tables have never been to used for that. If Kanna or another mod happens to read this, please remove the entry since this space is now locked.

Re: -- Kanna 00:40, 12 February 2008 (MST)

Problem has been fixed.

Re: Re: -- Sweet-Tooth 16:58, 12 February 2008 (MST)

) Thanks.

Starlight is subbing Wellber no Monogatari Second Part 2 -- Shermyy 21:49, 4 April 2008 (MDT)

Starlight has already announced that they will be subbing Wellber no Monogatari Second Part 2.

Re: Starlight is subbing Wellber no Monogatari Second Part 2 -- Shermyy 12:41, 9 April 2008 (MDT)

No need to put a question mark behind Starlight, because I'm an Editor and QCer for Starlight, we already have episodes 1-3 subbed, edited, encoded, etc. It's a green light for SoW2 for Starlight.
